Salt Creek Volunteer Fire Department - WE FIGHT WHAT YOU FEAR
Please join us at our  event!
Hi everyone,
We will be having our annual Rummage Sale in May.
I will put in the Date and times as the months come closer. As of right now it's too far away to determine a date and the times.
We have received plenty of dontations for the sale, but we could always use more larger items, such as furniture, we have plenty of smaller items.
I want to thank all of the wonderful people that have dontated  their left over estate sale and moving sales to us for our sale. Everything that we have received have been wonderful items and will help in our sale a great deal.
Keep cool and Keep Hydrated, it's very important so that you stay healthy.
And PLEASE remember!! We still need RAIN, and we have not had enough to keep fires at bay, so please use precaution when welding, bar-b-qing, burning trash(if you intend on burning any and all trash please call your local sheriff's office and let them know so that they may log in your name and address incase a neighbor or a passing car may call in that there is a fire in the neighborhood) and anything that may cause a spark, fires move fast especially when the winds are high. Even 5mph winds can catch and move a fire quickly, so please be careful and safe.
                               ***So, please  just remember***
If the winds are high, you are in danger of possible fires. So, if your needing to burn, please do this on a day that is appropriate for it, no high winds as you are putting yourself and others at risk for fire danger. We appreciate it when you call in to the sheriff's dept. when you do burn so we know when someone else reports smoke and a possible fire. In these high winds it spreads quickly and is very dangerous. Also, please remind family members and friends alike, to please if they smoke to be sure to put their cigarettes out in their ashtrays and not to flick their lit left overs out their windows while going down the road.
Thank you so much for being fire aware! It is very important for everyone to be extra careful at this time of the year when all is so dry! And as always if you have a controlled burn that has gotten out of control, please, immediately call 911!! You, and your family and other families could be in harms way!!***
So, if you haven't signed our guest book and given us your email yet please feel free to do so, this way I can keep you posted of our upcoming events.
Thank you!
Have a safe and wonderful day!
God Bless!
