Salt Creek Volunteer Fire Department covers Our Fire District for Our Toned Fire Calls, MVAs, Weather related situations, and Medical Emergencies; preparing for the arrival of the Ambulance on call. We also assist ESD2-Boonesville/Balsora VFD, in addition to Cottondale VFD, and Poolville VFD on an As Needed Basis; as they reciprocate to our need for assistance.
Notice of Hearing Regarding Issuance of Proposed VFD Financing Contract by Salt Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Pursuant to the Tax Equity Fiscal Responsibility Act and Internal Revenue Code, as amended, notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held by the Salt Creek Volunteer Fire Department regarding the proposed adoption of a resolution authorizing the execution and issuance by the VFD of a lease purchase financing contract (the "Agreement") in a total principal amount not to exceed $65,000 (max purchase) for the propose of acquiring a fire apparatus. Any person interested may appear before representatives of the VFD on the 19th day of September 2022, at 6:30 CST at 567 Big Salty Dr, Springtown, Tx 76082, and be heard for or against the adoption of the resolution and the execution of the Agreement. At such hearing, all objections and suggestions will be heard and considered and the VFD will take such action as is deemed proper under the circumstances.
